Difference in Medicare plans

A recent letter to the editor stated that The Wall Street Journal is telling the truth and Democrats are lying about the health care plan.
Unfortunately, the letter writer got confused about what is an editorial and what is an article.
Somebody is lying about there being cuts in Medicare.
No, repeat no, cuts are planned in Medicare.
Medicare Advantage is not Medicare. It contains extra benefits and costs seniors more than plain Medicare, which does not have those extra benefits.
Advantage benefits are planned to possibly be cut. Only Advantage.
It is easy to get confused. I hope Yumans will search out the truth (the real truth) as I have done.
