Keep killers' names out of the media

Regarding the gun problem and all its facets: Let's start by NOT publicizing nor showing any killer's name or photo. I think that many of them, even the seriously deranged, have the thought that their name and face will live long after them –even infamy is preferred to anonymity. Let's ask print and other media to give these killers the name “Mr. X” and show a male blurry face (not the killer's). If they knew that the act only would be publicized but not their name or face, they might decide this is not the way to “go out of this world in a blaze of glory.” This could be a start in making these awful crimes less onerous for the public. I personally do not want to keep seeing any of these killers' faces nor their names in the media.
