Publicity might make N.J. house ghosts angrier

Does that rental property come with a two-ghost garage?

If it does, don't rent to a certain New Jersey couple. They're suing a landlord who “knowingly” rented them a house chock full of spooks. They claim to hear mysterious voices whisper vaguely mysterious things, and of course, some invisible hand's been flipping the lights off and on.

But instead of calling an exorcist — or simply finding new digs — this couple has challenged the media to capture the craziness on camera.

To be honest, the videos haven't impressed me. My apartment in Carlsbad, N.M., would have that New Jersey home seeing a shrink and writing letters to Dear Abby.

I don't think such claims are real — usually.

This couple is just good at making publicity. But why?

Also, if I believed these ghosts were real, I certainly wouldn't want to risk angering them by having Geraldo over for dinner.
