Congress will never take pay cut

Kudos to Yuma Daily Sun Editor! The March 9th editorial hit the nail on the head. There is no way Mr. Obama and his Congress would ever take a 20 percent hit on their pay. Let them be the ones to have to figure out how in blazes to cut a budget to bones when it is close to already being there. Their families aren't going to feel a thing. Why are they not making a big deal about it? It is not going to affect them one bit. Mrs. Obama is such a big advocate of helping the poor, I guess that is why Mr. Obama is creating a whole lot more of them. Fiasco, what a beautiful word to describe the terror that is starting to hit the federal workers and contractors. Many people working for the contractors have already been laid off. Some put on call. This means they wait by the phone hoping to get a call. By the way, they don't get paid for being on call. Lives are already being torn apart on the premise that the furloughs are going to happen. Mr. and Mrs. Obama, Congress, how in the world can you sleep while you destroy the lives of the voters that put you in office? I, personally, emailed Mrs. Gonzalez of the 3rd district, a Democrat, asking her to help her voters, obviously by not responding to my email, she gave me an answer. As a voter I am paying strict attention to who is going to help us. Guess who will get my VOTE!
