Vote should be cast on performance
We have a federal government that is rife with arrogance, ignorance and incompetence. Those who write letters do not seem to understand that they, not the leaders, are the ones who are responsible for this, and yet they keep trying to assign the blame. The electorate has managed to ignore the past performance of those elected officials and vote them another term.
When are we the people going to wake up and start casting our votes based on performance instead of unfulfilled promises?
It seems to me that most people cast their vote for the candidate that has the best line. I'll bet they even believe the rhetoric the candidates utter during the debates. I think that the debates are not debates at all but quite simply just a first liars contest.
Remember, you cannot blame them, they were created by your tolerance of their lack of performance.
