10 Arizona places everyone should see

I read this article about the “10 Places Every American Should See.”

On the list were the French Quarter in New Orleans and South Beach in Miami.

Really?

Those places were on a list that also included places like Grand Canyon, Pearl Harbor, Gettysburg National Military Park and the National Mall in Washington, D.C.

I can't imagine what criteria were used to come up with the list, but as far as I'm concerned, it's a little out of whack if they are including the French Quarter and South Beach.

So, I came up with a few places of my own, and it's no coincidence that all of them are in Arizona, like Coconino National Forest, which includes the fabulous Red Rocks of Sedona; Meteor Crater; Lake Powell; Montezuma Castle; Monument Valley; Canyon de Chelly; Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument; Yuma Territorial Prison; and the Ocean-to-Ocean Highway Bridge.

There you have it, 10 places every American should see, in Arizona.
