Back candidates with Godly plan
We hear everyone say it. What does it take to have God’s blessings? Those of us who are Christians believe the answer is in the Bible.
In the 26th Chapter of Leviticus, it talks about the abomination of desolation. The first 13 verses tell of the blessings God promises if the people will hearken to the commandments of God. Verse 14 begins listing the curses God will put upon the land if the people turn from God.
Any who will read them can see them in our daily news stories. Do we want God to bless America? It starts with each one of us trying to get our own life acceptable to him. It continues with voting for the candidate we hope will take our city, state and country in a Godly direction.
Once the election is over, we need to pray for the person who is elected. If we do this, then God can and will bless America.
