Maricopa politics affects vote here

Isn’t it sad to see the dirty politics from the great state of Maricopa having an influence in our own Yuma County. How else can it be explained, that we didn’t even re-elect our own State Rep. Russ Jones?

And one can’t be too surprised to read that Darin Mitchell (aka one half of the “M&M boys”) apparently doesn’t even live in this district.

There was a time when “dirty smear tactics” were a death wish to a campaign here. There was a time that Yuma would not tolerate such deceit and distortion of the truth.

I admire Russ Jones for taking the “high road.” Too bad we didn’t.
