Time for reset in our politics
Periodically throughout life we need to “reset” ourselves, making sure we are heading the direction that gets us to our goals, whether short or long range goals, either for personal gain or for our country. Now is one of these times. Am I a Democrat? Am I a Republican? Am I liberal or conservative? Maybe I'm something else.
Do I love my country? YES. Do I care about others? YES. Do I give to charity either with money or time? YES. Do I believe everybody should be treated with respect when acting respectful? YES. Do I believe in personal responsibility? YES. Do I believe in God? YES. I must be a Democrat.
No wait ... Republicans believe in these things too. But there is a newer division only a few years old of late. A progressive Democrat or RINO Republican (Republican in Name Only). Do they love America? NO. Do they care about others? NO. Do they believe everyone should be treated the same? NO. Do they believe in God? NO.
The politicians that say they are progressive or Democrat give speeches and SAY they do believe in most of these things. But they are destroying our country and our Constitution. They are bankrupting America (of course to save America). They are dividing its people, pitting one race against another, rich against poor, haves against have-nots.
Everything is seen as racist now. Did you know that at a school in Oregon you can't say peanut butter and jelly sandwich because its racist. Yeah! White people eat PB & J sandwiches. Last I knew Americans in general ate PB & J sandwiches.
Businesses that are successful are seen as evil. How many unsuccessful operations do you see (besides government) that are open for business and hiring people?
Forty years ago if I said I was gay it had a completely different meaning than it does today. A Republican 40 years ago had different values than a Republican (RINO) has today and the same for Democrats. So you see a reset is needed.
The old Democrat was told his party was for the people, for the minority and for the poor. The new Democrat, the ones that are in office, believe the minority and poor are too stupid to take care of themselves. They give a hand out instead of a hand up. They are trying to bribe the voters to get their vote. They believe they can tell the people anything and they'll believe it because they are gullible (some are).
These new Democrats believe the Constitution is old and outdated. They try to personally destroy anyone who doesn't believe as they do. Freedom of speech is OK only if you say what they want. Lastly, the new Democrat, the Democrat Party 2012, does not believe in God. God was taken out of the Democratic platform and then voted on by the delegates to put it back in and the delegates said no. That vote was overridden by one man. So the Democrat is not for the people anymore either. The new Democrat wants a Godless, moral-less society.
So, if you are a registered Democrat and you love this country, believe in personal responsibility, are charitable, and among other things believe in God, then you are NOT a Democrat of 2012.
