Press covering up Benghazi

When the United States Marine barracks in Beirut, Lebanon, were bombed and more than 300 of America's finest died, the same gang and the liberal press went after President Reagan for three years hounding him incessantly. Why did it happen? When did he know it? And who is responsible?

The liberal Democrats and the TV allies Walter Cronkite and Dan Rather and the press were unrelenting in their efforts to pin that albatross around his neck for three years and tried to get him impeached. The reason? He was a conservative and a Republican.

It was the same thing with President Nixon. That same bunch of liberals went after him for the Watergate fiasco, which by today's standards is laughable because of an attempt to cover-up a botched up attempt to secure information for his campaign. It was a cover-up in which not one person died; it was an attempt by Nixon to cover his buddies.

The press went wild as they tried him in the court of public opinion. Nixon was forced to resign and several of his associates went to prison. The Watergate incident has been labeled as worthy of the highest prominence and importance in news gathering by this same crowd. The reason? To them, Republican conservatives are the real enemy.

What happens when Democrats steal, lie under oath, operate bordellos out of their basements, have sexual dalliances and put ill-gotten money in freezers? What happens when a prominent liberal democrat is heavily involved in Whitewater where people disappeared and one chose suicide? The press and the pundits on TV always give them a pass. The reason? They are liberals.

When George Bush was president his record was like a magnet to them. They worked overtime casting him as a klutz. When Bill Clinton lied, even under oath, not only did the press remain silent, the entire senate gave him a pass. The reason? They are as immoral as he.

Now for something that epitomizes how far removed these people are from the truth and integrity. It is the issue of the “Benghazi Massacre.” The stench is rising. Our ambassador plus three heroes died needlessly. This is a cover-up because the press refuses to do the job that the press is supposed to do and that is to be a buffer and a voice of the people toward an intrusive government and not an ally of deceit.

This cover-up is far greater than all of these other acts of immorality and lack of integrity combined. This tragedy demands nothing short of full disclosures! Why did it happen? Who are the principles involved? When did they know it? Why we were lied to at the beginning? And is Fox News the only one searching?
