Gun-free zones attract killers

Your editorial about violence preparedness in schools is on target but why do you not mention that teachers who chose to arm themselves can be an important part of the preparation?

This was the case prior to the "safe school zone" laws of 1990 and 1995. Prior to banning guns in schools, there were no problems with tearchers shooting each other on purpose or by accident.

These mass killers have not shown any inclination to go where defenders with guns may be present. They have only gone to "safe school zones."
