Some reasons why GOP lost

As a former registered Republican, I would like to offer just a few reasons why the Republicans failed to get their money's worth in the recent national elections.
They are Michele Bachmann, Todd Akin, Rick Perry, Herman Cain, “Syria is Iran's route to the sea,” “Russia is our greatest threat,” “I like being able to fire people,” “47 percent,” “I'm not concerned about the very poor,” a $10,000 bet, “Let Detroit go bankrupt,” “Jeep production will be sent to China,” “my wife drives a couple of Cadillacs,” etc.
If they hadn't lost votes with each objectionable gaffe or ignorant candidate, they may have had a better result for the millions spent.
