Republicans try to sabotage economy

I have been reading on the Internet about efforts by Republican leaders in Congress to sabotage any legislation from the Obama administration to create jobs and help the economy. The goal has been to keep the president from being re-elected.
As hard as it is to believe that our elected lawmakers could do such a thing, it could be the same Republican Party mentality that orchestrated the Watergate break-in back in the 1970s.
I am a veteran of World War II and the Korean conflict, and I love this country and its political system. It is still the best. God bless America!
