Readers not getting scientific information
Comments 0 | Recommend 0 As major sources of information for much of Arizona, you surely should be distressed by your readers' lack of scientific information. But they only "know what they read in the papers." And then they write letters.
Your papers should not report that carbon dioxide is a major greenhouse gas causing global warming, that petroleum is a fossil fuel or that glacier shortening and sea level rise is caused by global warming.
But you might point out that global temperatures correlate closely with total solar surface magnetic activity, the advantages of nuclear power and the disadvantages of ethanol as a substitute for gasoline.
