Story led to fresh interest in group

Thanks so much to Yuma Sun staffers Chris McDaniel and Randy Hoeft, and everyone involved in the front page story about the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society in Yuma. Though our organization is more than 109 years old, it is still a little known entity. Your story increased awareness and resulted in more than 20 individuals being interested in knowing more about the organization and possible volunteer opportunities. Thank you again for helping us lend a hand to our Marines, Sailors, and their family members by recruiting volunteers to assist in times of emergency.
