Motorcycle run done well
On Sept. 15, a motorcycle run was held for the family of Todd McEntire, who was killed recently in a motorcycle accident.
I, unfortunately, was not able to participate but from posts on Facebook and comments I have heard around town, it was a huge success.
The individual who organized it, Synaca Witherington, had never organized something like this before but did this event, as the teens nowadays say, like a boss. He doesn't know I'm writing this and probably wouldn't have wanted me to. He didn't do it for the recognition or the fame or glory. He did it to help Todd's family.
He needs to be commended for doing such a selfless thing that helped a family out that lost their son, spouse and father. My hat is off to you, Synaca, for a job very well done. It's nice to know people like Synaca live in Yuma and I can call him a fellow Yuman.
