Obama's actions louder than words

The second presidential debate was very interesting but when I was listening and watching, all I could think of was “his actions speak louder than anything he can say” when listening to President Obama. That led me to really think and consider all of what we have been going through the last four years as a result of his being our president and it makes me cringe.

Think of all he promised back in 2008 when he was running for the office of president, then consider the results of decisions he has made while in office. It’s easy to see he made promises he evidently did not intend on keeping.

Instead, the position he has taken on first one thing, then another, has made it harder and harder for most of us to “keep the roof over our heads and food in our bellies,” as the saying goes. Now he is running for re-election and making the same promises again, to do the same things after the first promises did not get taken care of.

For most of us, instead of getting better or easier to handle, everything, from purchasing food, gas and utilities to most everything else we need to get along has just gotten worse — much more expensive — and harder to handle financially. Did Obama have any intention of keeping those earlier promises he made? It sure doesn’t look like it.

It’s true we don’t actually know, for a fact, what will happen for sure in the next four years when/if President Obama is NOT re-elected. But we do know what we’ve been up against the last four years and do we really want more of the same, or worse?

My vote will gladly go for Mitt Romney rather than allowing what we’ve had with Obama to get worse than what it has become already. I hope you’ll think deeply and do the same.

Whatever you decide, at least get to the polls and vote. Then do whatever you can, big or small, in the coming four years to assist your city and state in whatever way you can, and let your wants be known as well, so we together can build a better America than we have today.
