He went beyond the call of duty

We were on our way home from seeing our kids in Oregon after five years.

Somewhere between Quartzsite and the Foothills, we had a flat tire. It was so hot, cars just flew by like we weren’t even there.

A young Border Patrol agent and his narcotics dog went by on his way home from his shift. He turned around and came back to see if we needed any help. He changed our tire, wouldn’t even let me help, and he followed us all the way to the Foothills.

Don’t say anything against the Border Patrol as they go way beyond their duty to keep us safe.
