Voters need to learn about candidates
After reading the final results to Yuma's primary election, it has become painfully obvious that the voters did not take the time to learn about all of the candidates, particularly the write-ins. Either they did not read the information or were just too lazy to be bothered.
Instead of write-ins and instead of having one ballot for the Republicans, one for the Democrats, etc., have all parties printed on each and every ballot.
I am a Democrat. However, that does not mean I vote that way or always agree. I don't typically vote Democrat or Republican, I vote for whom I believe to be the right candidate for the job, as I hope all will do this November. Please educate yourselves before voting.
