Enjoy visiting Yuma in summer

My wife and I have been traveling to Yuma from England for several years now.

Our travels to Yuma started (as with all snowbirds) during the winter months. For many years we enjoyed escaping from the cold, rain and snow in England.

We started our visits by renting a home in the Foothills, where eventually we purchased our own home. We have made many friends in Yuma and those who live year-round very often refer to the winter visitors.

It is our belief that a new term needs to be added to the vocabulary of Yuma, that being summer visitors. We now arrive during May and stay till mid-July. We enjoy the lack of heavy traffic as well as being able to shop, dine and drive without any congestion.

Yuma is a wonderful summer resort and with the English sales tax at 20 percent, along with a favorable exchange rate, an excellent place to shop.
