Some observations about conventions
I have some observations about the political conventions:
• Three days of the Republican convention gave us “factual” bla-bla-bla. Three days of the Democratic convention gave us contradictory “factual” bla-bla-bla. Someone's fibbing.
• Bill Clinton carried the Democratic convention mentality to the mountaintop. For the same folks who adoringly clapped for Clinton to adoringly clap for the Foo Fighter music destroyed that mentality.
• One thing common to both conventions was that their important speakers had, in the past, flipped burgers at a fast-food joint.
• The camera scanning the audiences of both conventions proved, without a question, that more Democrats than Republicans chew gum.
