Yumans donate hair for cause

The American Cancer Society Cancer Resource Center that is located in Yuma Regional Medical Center was the site of Yuma's caring people coming in to donate their locks of hair to provide wigs for those needing hair.
The fourth annual Cut for the Cause was held on Oct. 21, sponsored by Jessie Sheltra of Sheltra Insurance in honor of her years in business in Yuma. The volunteers at the Cancer Resource Center want to say thank you to Jessie, her stylists and most of all to the children and adults who made donations.
Yuma is a community that shows concern in so many ways for those going through difficulties. We are very fortunate.
