McCain deserves credit for F-35s

As someone who leans more left politically, it takes great pride-swallowing to say that I'm not sure anyone deserves more credit for bringing the F-35 to Yuma than Sen. John McCain.
He not only led in getting the planes here, but he also did it by keeping costs under control.
The F-35 program's costs were large, but Sen. McCain was able to keep the program on track and at a budget number that protected taxpayers.
There's still a long way to go to get all the F-35s here in Arizona, but it's nice knowing that we have Sen. McCain leading the Arizona delegation on this.
