It's an exciting weekend in Yuma

This weekend should be an exciting one in Yuma, with no shortage of events going on.

The San Pasqual Valley Unified School District Pow Wow kicks off Friday night in Winterhaven, with a weekend full of performances.

Then, the Marine Corps Air Station Yuma's Air Show takes to the skies Saturday.

And down at the Quartermaster Depot, attendees can celebrate all things agriculture with Yuma Lettuce Days, which is held on Saturday and Sunday.

And, let's not forget on Friday, there will also be “the Magic of Manilow and Bette Midler” at the Historic Yuma Theatre, CASA's Tribute to Elvis, radio's Bob and Sheri at Cocopah Casino, and the Marine Corps Silent Drill Platoon performance at Veterans Memorial Stadium.

And there's also the ARTrails Studio Tour Friday-Sunday, the “Steel Magnolias” performance at Gila Ridge Friday-Sunday, and Somerton Greater Days on Saturday.

Plus there are a handful of other events going on as well.
