WANDA BROOM (right) grabs hold of her friend, Manuel Sanez, while playing with a group of children at the Valley West Apartments on Avenue C and Crane Street. Broom, along with a group of volunteers from Champion Church, showed up with plenty of shoes, clothes and other donated items to pass out to the underprivileged children and families.
