U.S. Army Sgt. Ramirez was serving in Afghanistan where he sufferd a wound to his eye and flew into Yuma for a short recuperation period. He was surprised when he was greeted by a crowd of supporters at the airport. "I was was hoping someone would be here on time to pick me up," he said with a smile.
