Weekend drug smuggling attempts prevented
U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers found 12 packages of methamphetamine and another package of cocaine hidden in the gas tank of a vehicle belonging to a Mexican national on Friday who was allegedly trying to smuggle the drugs into the country through the U.S. Port of Entry at San Luis.
