Workers with DPE Construction proceed with the reconstruction of Avenue A early Monday morning. This segment of work is taking place between 16th Street and 13th Street. During completion of the $1.3 million project, about 24,800 square yards of asphaltic concrete pavement and other materials will be removed and replaced. It has been about 30 years since the current roadway was laid. Completion is scheduled in January.
