About 181 youths and adults from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints participated in the Yuma Arizona Stake Pioneer Trek held recently to honor their ancestors. The group walked through about 25 miles of desert while pulling handcarts and wearing authentic pioneer attire. Each night they camped in the wilderness.
