Academy holds "100-year-old" costume contest (photos)

To recognize the 100th day of school the students and staff at Desert View Academy, 2363 Kennedy Lane, held a costume contest to see who could dress as the best 100-year-old person. Third-grader Julia Whitson went all out with her costume which included a walker, fake oxygen tank, and a pocket full of hard candy.
