Man struck, killed by vehicle in Yuma

Officers from the Yuma Police Department investigate the scene of a fatal accident Wednesday morning where an elderly man was hit while trying to cross 24th Street in the area of Olivia Avenue. 24th Street between Kennedy Lane and Pacific Avenue was closed to all traffic while police conducted their investigation.
