Account Coordinator

The Yuma Sun has an immediate opening for a full-time Account Coordinator.  This position plans, organizes and prioritizes work flow to meet customer needs and deadlines.  Accurately proofs ads and submits corrections as needed.  Will answer phones, clear proofs and submit timely reports as required.  High school diploma or equivalent, excellent communication skills.  Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills.  Must be able to work well under daily deadline pressure.  This person must have strong organizational skills, be professional, punctual, assertive and extremely detail oriented.  Type 25 wpm and computer experience preferred. 

Education: High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience

Experience: Prior experience in customer service, sales support, and/or related administrative experience required.

Certifications/Licenses: Automobile in working condition, State issued driver's license and maintain current auto insurance

Business Manager

As the Business Manager at the Sun, you will be responsible for management and general oversight of all aspects of the Finance/Business Office.   In this diverse role, the Business Manager will serve as a key business partner to the publisher and local leadership team, as well as a liaison to a 3^rd party provider and to our corporate finance team.  Core duties include financial planning and analysis, monitoring and evaluating trends, collaborating with local business leaders to develop strategy and ensure sound business decisions, coordinating departmental budgets and forecasts for the Sun and all related products, participating in month-end close to ensure the accuracy of the financials as well as in the interpretation of results.  We are looking for someone with 5+ years in financial management experience, a bachelor degree in accounting or related field and a track record of success.
