Interactive Media Sales

Freedom Newspapers of Southwestern Arizona, Inc., seeks a sales professional focused on generating on-line advertising revenue through ads. This position will collaborate with sales management to identify, develop, sell and create marketing programs that will include interactive Web/vendor/co-op marketing initiatives.

This position requires a self-starter. Must be highly organized, with excellent presentation skills and proficient with today's technology. Attention to details, good follow-up, multi-tasking and interpersonal skills required. Also, our candidate must also have a working vehicle, current AZ Driver's License and valid auto insurance.

Ideal candidate will have a minimum of two year's documented successful sales experience, experience with Internet/Web-based marketing. 

Sales Consultant

Circulation Representative

Do you like to work with the public? We might have the job for you! We have an immediate full-time position open in our Circulation Department. Responsibilities include receiving subscription requests, payments and providing good customer service both in person and over the phone. Will also perform computer data entry and various duties to support daily activities of the circulation department. Must possess good telephone and office skills and must be able to work weekends. Classified Sales Representative 

Full-time position, excellent benefits. Responsibilities include placement and selling of reader ads into The Sun and our weekly publications. Will handle obits, make outbound calls to solicit ads and, must possess excellent customer service skills, interpersonal skills and must be able to work well under daily deadline pressure. Typing speed of 35-40 wpm required, prior sales a plus. Bi-lingual a plus but not required. Some computer experience helpful, high school diploma or equivalent. The position has a base hourly salary and commission. Work hours are Monday-Friday, day time hours. Selected applicants will be tested.

Inserter

PT position working the night shift at approximately 20-25 hours per wk working 10pm - 4am. This position prepares inserts/packages for insertion into The Sun and other publications and readies for distribution. Must be available for all days of the week, and possible long and/or split shifts. This position requires long periods of standing, twisting, and lifting upwards of 50 lbs. and minimum of 18 yrs of age is required.
