As Miss Native San Pasqual High School Princess and president of Strong Hearts Native Society, Gina Rivera has been busy, making her dress, and helping to organize the 32nd annual San Pasqual Valley Unified School District Pow Wow. The event is March 2-4 at the San Pasqual School Football Field, 676 Baseline Road, two miles north of Yuma in Winterhaven, Calif. Admission is $7 for adults, $4 for juniors (ages 11-17) and free for kids 10 and under. A weekend pass is available for $10.
