'Super moon' seen worldwide

NASA officials say the moon appeared about 14% bigger and 30% brighter than other full moons and will be as close to Earth as it will get for a while, just over 221,000 miles away. The phenomenon has been dubbed the 'super moon' and was photographed worldwide.
The full moon rises behind Statue of Liberty replica atop of a hotel in Kosovo's capital Pristina on Saturday, May 5, 2012. On Saturday, the moon will be a "supermoon" or perigee moon as the moon is at it's closest approach to the earth.
