Suverkrup Elemantary School practice what they have been taught in regard to meeting a strange dog during a "BeHumane" program visit Friday morning by the Humane Society of Yuma. Students at the school got the opportunity to interact with several dogs from HSOY during the visit. Prior to the visit HSOY personnel entered every classroom from Kindergarten to sixth grade and educated the students on several topics, including what it means to BeHumane, animal care, bite prevention and animal cruelty.
