This week the Arizona Commerce Authority presented InsulTech with a $463,925 check, the biggest grant in ACA's history, and presented Datepac, a consortium of area Medjool date growers, with a $60,000 check. The funds from the Rural Economic Development Grant Program will be used to purchase equipment needed for InsulTech's relocation to Yuma and Datepac will use the grant to fund expansion of its date-packing facility.
