Training in the skies

The spring Weapons and Tactics Instructors' Course, hosted by Marine Aviation Weapons and Tactics Squadron 1 (MAWTS-1) at Marine Corps Air Station Yuma, is underway. WTI is a two-month advanced aviation training course held at Marine Aviation Weapons and Tactics Squadron One aboard MCAS Yuma that provides standardized advanced tactical training and certification of unit instructor qualifications that support Marine aviation training and readiness. WTI is hosted twice a year, once in the spring and once in the fall.
