Rural Metro Fire Capt. David Irr was laid to rest Friday, surrounded by family, friends, and fellow firefighters. Irr's casket was carried on top of one of Rural/Metro's firetrucks, which was joined by emergency vehicles and personnel from around the state. Medical personnel from Yuma Regional Medical Center lined up along Avenue A to pay tribute as the procession passed the hospital on 24th Street.
