The Yuma Sun newspaper, provided by the Sun's Newspapers in Education program is a community service offered to teachers of students in kindergarten through grade 12 serving all county schools, private, parochial, charter and home-schooled teachers & students.
Alexandria Ponce, a 4th grade student in Kevin Weatherbee's class at Otondo Elementary School, looks closely at the weather page in the Yuma Sun to find and list in descending order the five highest temperatures and their locations in Arizona during a recent Newspapers in Education lesson.
