Cheer teams win at state

Two area high school cheerleading teams made a big splash at the 2011 Arizona State Championship competition. Cibola High School cheer coach Kristen Nichols reported that their team of 17 girls placed second in the 5A Varsity Show Cheer Small, and Kofa High School cheer coach Elisabeth English reported that their team of 24 girls placed third in the 5A Varsity Show Cheer Large.
