Home Delivery Manager

This full-time exempt position is responsible for planning, organizing, scheduling, and managing the home delivery circulation growth for The Yuma Sun.  Essential functions include managing the district sales managers, implements programs that improve and maintain high levels of good customer service to home delivered subscribers to aid in reducing customer complaints and increasing customer satisfaction and circulation, creating carrier promotions and conducting market research.  Other responsibilities include assisting the circulation director, staff training and carrier compliance.

Education/Experience: High School Diploma or GED; candidate must have at least four years of management experience or equivalent formal education, must be able to demonstrate strong organizational, planning, interpersonal and execution skills, able to work weekends and early mornings and have strong computer skills.

Certifications/Licenses: State issued driver’s license and maintain current auto insurance

Field Sales Representative (FSR)

The Yuma Sun has a full time opening for a Field Sales Representative (FSR). This position will focus on tactical and rapid account development by prospecting for new business in an effort to grow advertising revenue in the local retail business category.  The primary responsibilities include: strategic prospecting, conducting needs assessments, idea and proposal generation, presentation of advertising recommendations and closing the sale.  This position will ensure exceptional customer service to current and prospective advertisers.

Additional key focus areas will include opening account relationships and setting client expectations.  It will be necessary to meet with individual clients monthly, annually or quarterly to review campaign process, budgets and create new strategies.

The FSR will utilize the team selling approach and include the Account Relationship Specialist (ARS).

 Education:    High School Diploma or GED; BA/BS in Advertising, Marketing or related fields a plus

Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years sales experience; track record of success in prospecting and closing new business.  Advertising experience a plus.
