Cibola tops Gila Ridge

The Cibola baseball team picked up a 4-2 win over Gila Ridge on Saturday, moving its record to 6-3 in AIA power point games and 3-0 in the Gila Valley Region.
Christian Marquez earned the victory with support from Miguel Corral and Krysthian Leal, who each went 2-for-3 with an RBI.
With the loss, the Hawks fell to 5-3, 1-1. Entering play Saturday, Cibola and Gila Ridge were tied for ninth place in the 5A-II power point rankings.
