Players to watch: Amber Graham is coming off a 10-kill, 17-dig performance in the Matadors' sweep of Eastern Arizona on Wednesday. ... Sophomore setter Libby Ary averages nearly 10 assists a set for the Roughriders and finished with 26 in their losing effort to Central Arizona.

The lowdown: It's pretty simple for the Matadors — win one of the two matches against the Roughriders on Friday night and they'll host the ACCAC Region I Division I championship. The Matadors (10-4) are one game ahead of Eastern Arizona (10-6) and Central Arizona (10-6), both of whom are done for the season. However, a sweep by Yavapai (8-6) would create a four-way tie for first place with each school at 10-6. ... The doubleheader is a result of the match in Prescott on Oct. 5 being suspended because powder thrown by the Yavapai crowd made the court too slippery. ... The first match at 5 p.m. will pick up where the teams left off — the Matadors leading trailing 16-12 in the second set after winning the first game 25-23. ... Arizona Western swept Yavapai 25-20, 25-17, 27-25 in Yuma on Aug. 31. ... A trip to the Region I Division I finals would mark the third straight season the Matadors have made it to the region championship.
