Kofa guard Anthony Faidley signed on to play his college basketball next year at Dana College, and NAIA Division I college in Blair, Neb.

Faidley, the 2008 The Sun/Yuma Rotary Club's Player of the Year, averaged 16.7 points and 8.3 rebounds a game his senior season while helping the Kings reach the 5A Division II state semifinals in Glendale.

Yuma High guard Jacob Biever will join Faidley at Dana College. Biever was the Crims second leading scorer at 10 a game last season and was the Gila Valley Region 3-point champion.

Kofa coach Kevin Williamson said more local players are expected to sign with schools soon, including Yuma High's Spencer Koepp and Kofa's Ryan Kinnell.
