Mats fall to Yavapai 4-1

Despite a halftime lead, the Arizona Western soccer team fell to Yavapai 4-1 in Prescott on Thursday.
The goal just before half snapped a four-game shutout streak for the Roughriders (10-0), who have won two straight against the Matadors (8-2). Stats from the game were not available.
AWC had a seven-game winning streak snapped. A win would have moved the Matadors into first place in the Arizona Community College Athletic Association.
The Matadors are back in action Monday when they host Chandler-Gilbert as the second half of ACCAC play begins.
