ST. GEORGE, Utah - The St. George Roadrunners broke a 6-6 tie with four runs in the bottom of the fourth inning and went on to send the Yuma Scorpions to a 15-7 setback Monday at Bruce Hurst Field in St. George.

St. George's Lino Rodriguez and Ivan Reyes gave the Roadrunners the lead for good with back-to-back RBI doubles to go up 10-6.

After allowing four runs in the bottom of the first, the Scorpions bounced back with a five-spot in the second. The Scorpions put four runners aboard in the inning with a pair of walks and a pair hit by pitches.

Maikel Jova delivered a two-run single and Henry Calderon added a two-run single to put Yuma on top 5-4.

The first four Roadrunner batters of the game reached base and came around to score. Seth Loman hit a three-run homer in the first, and Ryan Stevenson hit a solo blast in the seventh.

Jova drove in three of Yuma's seven runs.

The same two teams are at it again today in St. George. First pitch is at 6 p.m.
