Diablos win Labor Classic
Comments 0 | Recommend 0In their first tournament of the fall season, the Yuma Diablos, a 14-and-under traveling baseball team, took first in the Labor Classic in Calexico, Calif. They finished 4-1. They beat the Imperial Valley Stars 7-2, Holtville 5-4, Mexicali 7-6 and El Centro in the Championship 8-7. Pitcher Chris Marquez recorded three saves, and Danny Flores Jr. was player of the tournament with two RBIs in the final inning of each game against Mexicali and El Centro.
