ON DECK: Sunday Funday
Talk about a thriller.
Sunday's Super Bowl almost made break out into a sweat.
When the Giants handed the ball back to Tom Brady and the Patriots with almost a minute left, I figured I'd be sitting here writing an angry On Deck — instead I'm sitting here smiling.
Super Bowl 46 did not disappoint. It was a gritty, down-to-the-wire game. But the Giants made it look easy, as Ahmad Bradshaw literally plopped himself down in the endzone for the game-winning TD.
Apparently Mrs. Brady's plea for Patriots' prayers didn't work out so well.
But seeing the Giants celebrate wasn't the only good thing about Sunday. NFL commish Roger Goodell said there's a chance the league will say goodbye to the Pro Bowl.
The only thing that could've made Sunday better? If my Bears were the ones hoisting that Lombardi trophy.
