Returning starters: Joanna Ramirez, sr., C, Julia Hernandez, sr., C
Key newcomers: Brenda Gonzalez, jr., F; Deana Lopez, sr., SG; Perla Ballesteros, jr., SF
Player to watch: Gonzalez adds even more size, blocks well and posts up offensively.
San Luis coach Carlos Ambriz's comments: "We're hoping size is going to be a strength. We're going to look to attack the post, although we've got some fast guards too."
The lowdown: Ambriz, in his first year, said the team has to improve defensively to be competitive, but with three tall players - Ramirez, Hernandez, Gonzalez - that should not be a problem.
