ON DECK: Whisenhunt gone soon

It's not often that you see a 58-0 game in the National Football League, and in a league that prides itself on parity, this league wasn't exactly proud of this match-up.

I've never in my life seen such a bad performance by a quarterback. John Skelton literally brings shame upon the shield. You cannot help but feel bad for Ken Whisenhunt. Where else does he have to turn? Ryan Lindley?

I've read and heard from all the national media that Whisenhunt is a great coach and these are unfortunate circumstances. But he really doesn't deserve to keep his job. Remember, he's the one who has brought in five different quarterbacks since Kurt Warner left, each one worse than the last.

He asked ownership to spend the moon on Kevin Kolb. They obliged. If someone mismanaged my money like this, they probably wouldn't work for me anymore.

With nine losses in a row culminating in one of the most embarrassing performances in league history, it's over for Whisenhunt. He might be a good coach, but he'll have to prove it elsewhere.
